Football: Fabio Capello - More Of The Same

The final whistle sounds at Wembley Stadium. England have salvaged a draw against a superior Czech Republic outfit. And the boos ring out around Wembley.
It could be another match in the reign of Sven Goran Eriksson. Or Steve McClaren. But no - it's Fabio Capello's new dawn.
The England performance, has exactly the same feel, as most of that, which has been witnessed over the last few years. Top players, serially under performing, on the big stage.
Something is clearly not right, with this group of players. Either its the formation they are being asked to play in. Or the chemistry between them, does not create a positive team-ethic. For too long, Gerrard and Lampard have been unrecognisable in the England jersey. And there must be reasons why this is.
Fabio Capello, is paid to think clearly and act decisively. Tonight at Wembley, the signs were there, that nothing has changed for the better, with the English national team. Unless he reads the runes correctly, then his reign will be no more effective, than Sven's or Steve McClaren.
Capello, must have known this was not an easy job. Tonight, will have shown him, just how far he has to go, to make England great again.
