There will be key factors contributing to that under-performance. And my work as a sports psychologist is to shed light on those reasons and help you, the leader, transform them.
As a leader, you can often be too close to the results to recognise why things are as they are. You may not be able to discern the critical factors that are impacting on you or your teams’s motivation for example.
The demand from the top may be creating an unrelenting pressure, that is impacting on work-place morale, or team dynamics. You recognise there is a different mood about the place, But you can’t quite put your finger on the reason why.

The bigger picture view is essential to help you stay close to the team’s vision and strategy.
