Psychovation - The Seminar

Overview

Psychovation draws its inspiration from former England hardman Stuart 'Psycho' Pearce. What sets Pearce apart from many professionals was his wholehearted endeavour and passion, exemplified, superbly, in Euro '96.

In 1990 Pearce famously missed a crucial penalty against arch-rivals Germany in the World Cup semi-final shoot-out. The Germans went on to World Cup glory, leaving England ruing their luck. Again.

Six years later, in the quarter-finals of Euro '96, England were involved in another penalty shoot-out, this time against Spain.

In his autobiography, Pearce captures the moment exactly. When Terry Venables came off the bench to sort it out, I made a bee-line for him and said that I wanted to take the third one. 'Are you sure?' he asked. I had never been more sure of anything. If he had said no I would have fought it.

The Wembley crowd held their breath. Surely he couldn't miss again? What would be the implications for Psycho if he did? The tension was incredible.

Pearce went on to score, drilling his penalty with pace and precision past the Spanish keeper. Wembley erupted as Psycho exorcised his demons of Italia '90 in his fist pumping celebration. He had finally stared down the beast.

This is Psychovation. Psychovation is an attitude. It's about doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right way.

The Seven Attitudes Of Psychovation...

Psychovation is all about attitude. It's about not accepting things as they are, but tapping into the power within that can change things. Change things for the better. Just because things are the way they are, doesn't mean that they will always be that way. Psychovation is the power of self-leadership.

This seminar shows you how you can draw on the power that enabled Stuart Pearce to stare down the beast. Here are the key attitudes this seminar will demonstrate:

  • Be Keen To Right A Wrong
  • To Show Courage In Adversity
  • To Put Yourself To The Test
  • To Stand Up And Be Counted
  • To Be Prepared To Fail
  • Take Personal Responsibility For Your Actions
  • To Be Defiant In The Face Of Defeatism

 Psychovation Will Benefit...
